SinterLock Bauxite
SinterLite Lock Bauxite is a low density bauxite proppant used in high-temperature, high closure stress environments where proppant fl owback potential is expected. SinterLite Lock is a mixture of a small percentage of angular bauxite grains with the spherical grains of SinterLite Bauxite. The purpose of the angular grains is to provide a mechanism to prevent the fl owback of proppant grains as the well is produced. With SinterLite Lock there is no chemical reaction required, and no dependence on temperature or time for the mechanism to be effective. To ensure accuracy and homogeneity the mixture is accomplished during manufacturing therefore no mixing is necessary in the fi eld. SinterLite Lock is manufactured by Mineração Curimbaba, Ltda. in Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
